The government organizes a tourism festival every year in this garden and the festival attracts a lot of people here. You might be wondering what gave rise to the unique name of the garden. The garden is designed in such a way that all five senses of the human body are aroused. Located inside the Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi Mughal Gardens built in the traditional Persian style architecture of the Mughals. There are several patches of vibrant and colorful flowers that give out a very positive vibe. The park also has various fountains and is famous for its lush green serene environment. It is surely one of the most beautiful gardens to visit in Delhi with family and loved ones. It is also known as the soul of the Presidential Palace. Not many people know this, but contrary to the name, the Mughal gardens are actually British gardens. Apart from being referred to as the Mughal gardens, it also has three other Butterfly gardens, a Pearl garden, and a Circular garden.

The garden is filled with different types of plants, flowers, and trees that add to its scenic beauty and make it special. However, do note that you are not allowed to take cameras inside the garden premises. Located in the Rashtrapati Bhavan, the closest metro station to the Mughal gardens is the Central Secretariat metro station. The park remains open each day except Mondays from 9.30 AM to 4 PM there are no entry charges. However, do note that the park is open to the public only in the months of February and March.

A very popular place in Soth Delhi, Buddha Jayanti Park is dedicated to Lord Buddha. Not many people know this but the garden was built to mark the 2,500th birth anniversary of Lord Buddha. The main highlight of the park is the Buddha State which is an artificial island built in the middle of a waterway. Spread over 81 acres of land, the park has more than 100 species of trees which makes it one of the famous parks in Delhi to visit. There is also a special small palm garden where a variety of palm trees grow. If you are visiting the park in December or January make sure that you check out the Rose garden filled with different colors of roses which bloom in the winter season.

A special 1.2-acre area of this park is committed to a cactus ecosystem and 8 acres are committed to bougainvillea and the area looks beautiful. Nehru Park is the most famous park among morning walkers, joggers, and fitness enthusiasts. The park is named after a freedom fighter, our national hero, the first Prime Minister of India, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. Located in Chanakyapuri, the place is located in the heart of Delhi. Spread over 80 acres of land, the garden is lush green and has a variety of species of trees, plants, and flowers inside. It is certainly one of the most famous parks in Delhi. If you come here in the morning you would find a lot of Yoga classes going on here, some of these classes may be free as well!
